The Delaware Historical Society has a large collection of family history research folders.

This collection is primarily the result of the generosity of family historians all over the country who have kindly shared their research. Each family folder contains miscellaneous, mostly unpublished material on one or more family names with Delaware origins. Some of the folders contain well organzied and well documented information while others hold handwritten rough notes.

A visit to the Research Library is required for in-depth access to the family history folder collection.  However, limited analysis and duplication of material in a family history folder is a major feature of the standard research service offered by our staff.
