The Delaware Historical Society Research Library offers the family historian a wide range of materials for research on Delaware families.  Highlights include:

- Surname file with 120,000 entries
- Family History Folders
- Delaware census records
- Church and Cemetery Records

- Wilmington city and Delaware town directories

The Research Library also holds a good collection of general and how-to and genealogy books, and materials from east-coast states from New England to Virginia.

If you cannot visit the Research Library in person, the Society offers a basic research service.  A list of professional genealogists is also available by contacting deinfo@dehistory.org.
