From I-95 (north or south)
Take exit 5A (New Castle) to Rt. 141 South.
Take Rt. 141 South approximately 4 miles to the intersection of Rt. 273 and Rt. 9.
Turn left and follow for approximately 1/2 mile to a fork in the road marked with a sign reading "Welcome to Historic New Castle."
Take the right-hand fork (Delaware Street).  Proceed on Delaware Street to 2nd Street.
Turn left on 2nd Street, right on Harmony Street, and right onto The Strand.  The Read House & Gardens will be on your right.
