Why should I support
the Delaware Historical Society when there are so many other
important charities that need my help?
History matters! And the Delaware
Historical Society is the largest private institution in the
state collecting, preserving and sharing our collective
heritage. In addition to library researchers and museum
visitors, the Society is one of the largest providers of
student programs in the First State, and the home of
National History Day in Delaware.
Why should I become a
member of the Delaware Historical Society?
Because the Delaware Historical
Society is not just an important resource for Delawareans,
but a provider of entertaining and educational exhibitions,
programs, events and publications that aren’t available from
any other institution in the state.
